We offer smoke alarm inspections, installation and testing to ensure that your home, investment property or commercial space is not only safe but compliant with current legislation.
Current legislation outlines that from 1 Jan 2022, landlords are required to have interconnected smoke alarm systems - meaning when one alarm activates, all others do as well. All homes being sold, leased or having leases renewed, must have hardwired photoelectric, interconnected smoke alarms.
All other dwellings must transition to comply with this legislation by 1 January 2027.
